As a System Safety Engineer, you will be carrying out a wide range of Safety Engineering activities across a variety of Defence Projects.

We are a small consultancy with a fantastic and growing team and lots of ambition. ISE are currently supporting our clients on some of the most exciting and technically challenging projects in the defence sector. We offer Hybrid/Remote with Flexible working patterns and believe work-life balance is key to success. Travel to client sites may be required depending on the contract

· Experience in carrying out Fault Tree Analysis (Isograph Reliability Workbench)
· Experience in carrying out Hazard Identification and Hazard Analysis
· Knowledge and application of Def Stan 00-56
· Good understanding of Systems Engineering principles
· Knowledge of ARP 4671 / ARP 4754
· Knowledge of ASEMS / POSMS / POEMS
· Hazard Log management
· Experience in the production and maintenance of Safety Case Reports and Safety Management Plans
· Experience working on complex projects
· Experience working in a consultancy environment
· UK National and able to attain SC clearance

· Requirements management
· Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering
· Electronics Engineering experience
· Experience working on Defence projects (Land / Aerospace)
· Knowledge of Space systems
· Experience working with IEC 61508
· Experience in mentoring junior Engineers
· Knowledge of MBSE.

· Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
· Ability to work effectively across multiple projects
